The beta branch has been updated with the following changes:

  • Fixed convars that would be reset to an empty string not being reset when a challenge was deactivated.
  • Fixed the Ignite input being missing from asw_alien_goo in Hammer.
  • Fixed the mission chooser jumping to the bottom when opened.
  • Scroll speed in the mission chooser now adjusts with screen resolution.
  • More work on the settings menu. Still a work in progress.
  • Reduction Campaign
    • Mission 1
      • Removed objective descriptions that matched their titles.
      • Made the first door open faster, and automatically.
      • Added red lights behind doors leading to dead ends.
      • Reduced lamp flickering intensity.
      • Increased visibility in previously very dark areas.
      • Added barrels that ignite biomass.
      • Adjusted soundscape.
      • Fixed an area not being revealed after unwelding a door.
      • Increased visibility radius.
      • Added a sign for the supply room.
      • Fixed drones getting stuck outside the space station.
      • Fixed a flamethrower intended to be full having a quarter of its fuel tank missing.
      • Changed a hack from wire-tile to tumbler.
      • Adjustments to logic in the final scene to avoid a soft-lock.
    • Mission 2
      • Added progress indication to the antenna objective.
      • Disabled shadows on rocks.
      • Removed camera shake.
      • Increased activation radius for beacons and made them use glowing outlines to show they are interactive.
      • Fixed a pink sprite that was too big.
      • Added more decoration to the area, including supports, lights, and antennas.
      • The ship door is no longer transparent.
      • Removed “to be continued” text.
    • Mission 3
      • Removed objective descriptions that matched their titles.
      • Improved shadow resolution inside building.
      • Adjusted an edge to make it clearer that you’re supposed to walk off.
      • Improved grass textures.
      • Removed invisible walls from sentry hack room.
      • Improved gasoline stain.
      • Added glowing outlines to the train to show that it is interactive.
      • Fixed bots not entering the train.
      • Fixed a marine corpse missing its backpack.
    • Mission 4
      • Reduced duration of opening scene.
      • Made it harder to fall out (can now only fall off the train in one place).
      • Adjusted door opening sequence to not require breaking the train.
      • Linked biomass so it all ignites at once.
      • Aliens spawn near the hack on insane and brutal.
      • Fixed the “find package” objective completing too early.
    • Mission 5
      • Removed objective descriptions that matched their titles.
      • Weapons are no longer deleted on mission start.
      • The crane can no longer be activated before the boxcar is opened (fixes a possible soft lock)
      • Added chainsaws near the boxcar; removed the chainsaw dispenser.
      • Removed the fire-related mission fail condition.
      • Reduced the amount of fire, and stopped it from spreading.
      • Fixed objective markers.
      • Fixed missing props.
    • Mission 6
      • Removed objective descriptions that matched their titles.
      • Removed collision from the row of body bags at the start.
      • The bomb is no longer blocked by characters in front of it.
      • Fixed missing props.
